Venice is a directional menace

We had the worst time finding our way around Venice, Italy, but we had the best time getting lost. One reward? Wild boar pizza at a former monastery.  And because we were there in December, there were very few tourists – we just walked right into the glorious St. Mark’s Basilica (after wading through a little aqua alta, the sweet way to name flood waters).
