Moon River Brewing Co. is hosting the Grand Opening of its new Beer Garden on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at 21 W. Bay St. in Savannah Georgia.

The 5,400-square-foot Beer Garden will feature a single-story building that will be attached to the current Moon River Brewing building. The new building will house restroom facilities, a bar and a small kitchen.

The remaining area, about 3,600 square feet, will seat more than 200 patrons. Carolina jasmine (with Moon River Brewing yellow blossoms) will be grown on a trellis over most of the seating area, providing cooling shade on hot summer days. Herbs, flowers, shrubs and trees will be planted along the north and west sides of the Beer Garden to enhance the garden feeling.

Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome in the Beer Garden.
